Longmont Live Music Highlights for the Week of 2/2/2026

Obviously, the big live music event this week is the Winter Walkabout Music Showcase, an event that largely features local acoustic, singer-songwriter, bluegrass, and folk acts.

We already covered that awesome event extensively in this blog, so we'll focus this one on a few other local music happenings coming up.

As always, a reminder that Front Row LoCo has Longmont's only events calendar dedicated to live music. You can always find it on our home page.

But we definitely don't catch everything, so please let us know if there's something we should add. We're here for you!

Aside from the Walkabout, here are a couple of other shows we think are worth considering this weekend.

If silly singer-songwriters are your thing, you can catch The Shawnsky Show (Shawn Camden from Los Cheesies and friends) on Thursday night at Bootstrap Brewing from 6 to 9pm. Shawn promises to thrown in some impressions--not covers, impressions--of Bruce Springsteen, Jim Morrison, Elvis, and more.

For something completely different, consider heading over to Bricks to see Wylie Jones on Friday night from 6-9pm. Wylie uses looping to craft one-ma compositions across multiple genres.

We're not aware of any punk, hip-hop, jazz, noise, experimental, electronic, and other genres of music happening this week, but looking ahead on the calendar, we see some cool stuff happening at Bizarre Electronics Repair, Grossen Bart, and even the Memorial Building! More on those later.
